Trinity County Profile

Trinity County is located in the mountains of northwest California. Surrounding counties include Siskiyou to the north; Shasta and Tehama counties to the east; Mendocino to the south; and Humboldt to the west. Trinity is home to hundreds of miles of trails, lakes, and the Trinity River Scenic Byway, providing several venues for outdoor enthusiasts and travelers. These are estimates of the number of people employed in certain occupations and the wages paid to them. The wage data has not been validated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and are not official BLS data series; however, EDD Labor Market Information Division feels that the additional information is useful to users of our wage data.

The Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program produces a comprehensive tabulation of employment and wage information for workers covered by California Unemployment Insurance laws. The QCEW program serves as a near census of monthly employment and quarterly wage information at the state and county levels and provides the most detailed industry data available. The QCEW data is usually published six months after the end of the quarter.
