License Requirements, Fees, and Examination Information:
Individuals engaged in the private practice of educational psychology.
Fees: Initial Application/Examination: $200
Fingerprint Processing for out-of-state applicants only: $59
Initial License (Max): $80
Re-Examination (written): $100
Examination Frequency: Written - Continuous Administration.
Exam Locations: Written - multiple.
Experience Requirement: Master’s degree, 60 semester hours or 90 quarter units postgraduate work in pupil personnel services; 3 years full-time experience as credentialed school psychologist. Must have at least 1 year of supervised professional experience in an accredited school of psychology program, or under the direction of a licensed psychologist.
Average Time to Process Application: Allow 60 days.
Renewal Period: Every 2 years.
Special License Requirements: Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation; take and pass examination.
