License Requirements, Fees, and Examination Information:
Persons who wish to practice embalming.
Fees: Application: $150; Examination and license: included in application fee.
Renewal fee: $100
Examination Frequency: 6 DAYS A WEEK
Exam Locations: 17 Sites through out the State (outside vendor PSI).
Experience Requirement: Graduation from an approved embalmer school; completion of 2-year apprenticeship.
Average Time to Process Application: 30 days.
Renewal Period: Annually.
Special License Requirements: N/A
