Landscape architects and any person who uses the title or does the work of a landscape architect as defined in Business and Professions Code, Division 3, Chapter 3.5.
Fees: National Examination administered by The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board (CLARB).

California Supplemental: $275.00
Initial License: $400
Renewal: $400.00
Examination Frequency: Multiple choice and administered 3 times a year. California Supplemental Exam: Continuous
Exam Locations: Multiple
Experience Requirement: 6 years (a combination of education and training).
Average Time to Process Application: California Code of Regulations Section 2612 states sixty (60) days. *Average process time is two (3) weeks.
Renewal Period: Biennially (every second year).
Special License Requirements: N/A
Comments: The Board of Landscape Architects was sunsetted effective July 1,1997, after which the Technical Committee was established under the purview of the California Architects Board.
