The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), a nonprofit professional society of over 9,500 memebers, issued a survey to its members to determine the need for Green Jobs, Energy Industry Potential and Salary Data.
Green SealTM Pilot Sustainability Standard for Companies
A non-profit organization devoted to environmental standard setting; certification of products, services, and companies; and public education. Green Seal’s mission is to work towards environmental sustainability by identifying and promoting environmentally responsible products, purchasing, and production.
NGA State Green Economy Profiles
National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) has commissioned Collaborative Economics Inc. (CEI) to prepare a profile of each state’s “green” economy. This data is designed to provide a detailed, empirical account of your state’s existing assets across multiple green sectors and serve as a foundation for identifying future growth areas and related needs.
Occupational Information Network (O*NET) Green Economy Sector
The green economy will cause a change in occupations' employment demand or work and worker requirements such as tasks, skills, knowledge, and credentials. Green occupations are linked to Green Economy Sectors. O*NET has identified occupations with green enhanced skills, green increased demand, and new and emerging green jobs.
