Salespersons are employed by California licensed yacht and ship brokers.
Fees: Application: None; Examination: $25; License: $100; Temporary: $25; Fingerprints: $56.
Examination Frequency: Once a month in Sacramento, San Clemente, and San Diego.
Exam Locations: San Clemente, Sacramento, and San Diego.
Experience Requirement: Employed by licensed yacht and ship broker for 1 year.
Average Time to Process Application: 1 month.
Renewal Period: Annually.
Special License Requirements: Applicant must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Comments: The employing broker must be licensed and bonded.
