License Requirements, Fees, and Examination Information:
A person who tests milk, cream, or any fluid derivative of milk or cream for compositional analysis, which is purchased, received, or sold on the basis of milk fat which is contained in it, shall hold a tester's license. A separate license is required for each of the methods or processes of testing.

Fees: Examination Application: $100; License Renewal: $100.

Examination Frequency: Upon request.

Exam Locations: At plant.

Experience Requirement: Demonstrate by written, and oral & demonstration examination, the ability to condust specific type(s) of milk composition tests and comply with regulations on conducting such analyses.

Average Time to Process Application: 60 days.

Renewal Period: Biennially, expires two years from the date of issue. License renewal fees must be received within 90 days of the license expiration date for renewals to be issued.
