A Title Marketing Representative. must hold a "certificate of registration." A title marketing representative is a person-employed by a title insurer, underwritten title company or controlled escrow company whose primary duty is to market, offer, solicit, negotiate or sell title insurance.
Qualifications:
• Prelicensing Experience/Education: Not required
• Examination: Not required
• Continuing Education: Not required
Fees:
• Certificate filing fee: $237 (three-year term).
• Fingerprint fee: The fingerprint fee at the California Department of Insurance (CDI) fingerprint vendor, Accurate Biometrics, is $58.30. Review the following link for more information: http://www.insurance.ca.gov/0200-industry/0200-prod-1icensing/0100-applicant-info/0300-cafingerprint/index.cfm.
• Renewals: $251 each three-year certification term.
Fingerprint impressions are required for all unlicensed applicants.
