Active License fee: $400 (Delinquency fee $100)
(REQUIRED/ADDITION) w/ Active License fee: $16 (CURES)
Inactive License fee: $300 (Delinquency fee ($75)
ADDITION (Active/Inactive License fee): $25 (Steven Thompson Loan Repayment)
Experience Requirement:
Graduation from a US-approved college of Osteopathic Medicine, completion of one-year internship, and completion of the National Boards/ COMLEX I-III. All requirements must be fulfilled prior to applying for license.
Average Time to Process Application: up to 6 months.
Renewal Period: Biennially (birth month of every second year).
Note: There is a Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirement of 150 hours over a 3-year renewal period; 60 hours must be AOA category I.
