Ask an Economist -- I’m trying to determine the difference between union and non-union wages.

The Labor Market Information Division collects occupational employment and occupational wage data for wage and salary workers in non-farm establishments through the Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) survey.  The OES program collects data by industry for full-time and part-time employees in private sector, government, union, and non-union establishments.  This program does not differentiate, however, between union and non-union wages during the data collection process.  You may want to contact the union for more information on union wages.
